FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
MMA Safety Update – Harley-Davidson 2014 Trike Recall
Harley-Davidson is recalling certain 2014 Trike motorcycles manufactured July 24, 2013, through September 2, 2013. Due to an incorrectly machined part, the motorcycle may have an excessive steering angle allowing the inner fairing to contact the rear brake fluid reservoir resulting in a loss of brake fluid compromising brake performance. Additionally, the steering damper may be damaged resulting in a potential loss of control of the motorcycle. Either condition increases the risk of a crash.
