MMA To Conduct Voluntary Sound Clinic On The South Shore
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Saturday, September 19, 2015, the Massachusetts Motorcycle Association will be conducting a voluntary motorcycle sound clinic in conjunction with the Towns of Yarmouth, Barnstable, Dennis, Harwich, and the Cape Cod Regional Motorcycle Team. The clinic will take place in the parking lot at Yarmouth Police Department, 340 Higgins Crowell Road, South Yarmouth 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

The purpose of this clinic is to serve as an educational tool for riders and town residents alike. Testing will be performed by MMA representatives in concert with officials from the participating towns. Riders will be issued a certificate from the MMA showing the results of their sound level test; there will be NO enforcement action taken on this day.

Representatives from the MMA will also be available to answer any questions you may have, and to pass out informational brochures including the MMA's nationally recognized "When In Town Throttle Down©" campaign, which contains easy to understand explanations of exactly what the “EPA stamp" on motorcycle exhaust is all about. They may also have a few other goodies to pass out! All riders in the area are urged to attend.
