MMA Update: MRF Lobbyist setting out on new adventures
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Your Massachusetts Motorcycle Association announces with regret that the lobbyist for the Motorcycle Riders Foundation, Jeff Hennie, announced his departure from the MRF after more than 11 years to pursue new adventures.

Jeff has been the face of the MRF for more than a decade and represented motorcyclists on Capitol hill with dignity and fierceness. Writing a column for American Iron, Jeff also shared his views concerning the attacks on Motorcyclists from the different government agencies since winning a significant battle forcing the National Highway Transportation Safety Authority to spend our tax dollars on things other than attacking motorcyclists in their home states. Under Jeff’s watch, numerous challenges and attacks from the EPA, DOT, NTSB, CDC, and AGO, to name a few, had all been stymied.
In a very personal note sent to the MRF Board and State Representatives, Jeff shared his decision to leave our Washington D.C. as something quite personal and perhaps overdue. Jeff agreed to participate in any transition and provide training for his successor once named.
The Board of the MRF has named a committee to immediately seek a replacement, and has tasked several board members with various responsibilities to ensure no lapses in coverage on "the hill" in Washington, D.C.
The Massachusetts Motorcycle Association is a Sustaining Motorcycle Rights Organization of the MRF and extends its deepest appreciation to Jeff for everything he’s done for the Motorcyclists of our great nation.
Jeff, we know you love the long-haul rides, and the great outdoors; may the skies be sunny where you ride, and the rubber side always be on the bottom… Ride free, ride proud, and ride safely – we do, because of you!
