MMA To Testify On Motorcycle License Plates Bills
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Representatives from the Massachusetts Motorcycle Association will be on hand tomorrow, Thursday, December 3, 2015 to testify before the Joint Committee on Transportation in favor of 7 bills concerning motorcycle license plates for Veterans and Firefighters. The public hearing will be conducted at 2:00 PM in room B-1 at the Massachusetts State House.
Virtually every bill scheduled to be heard directly affects motorcyclists who are veterans by authorizing special license plates for motorcycles, reduced (or elimination) of license plate fees for veterans, and distinctive license plates for Firefighters here in the Commonwealth.
The bills scheduled to be heard are:
Any rider that has an interest in these bills is encouraged to attend the hearing to voice your support. If you are unable to attend, the MMA encourages all riding Veterans and Firefighters to send their comments and requests for “Favorable, Ought to Pass” recommendations for the bills you choose to support to the Joint Committee on Transportation, Chairmen Senator Thomas McGee and Representative William Strauss, contact information follows:
