Your MMA congratulates the MRF's "Hardtail" Willard on being inducted to the Sturgis Freedom Fighters Hall of Fame FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Your Massachusetts Motorcycle Association extends its congratulations to Motorcycle Riders Foundation President Kirk "Hardtail" Willard on his induction to the Sturgis Freedom Fighters Hall of Fame. In a ceremony on August 8, 2018, Hardtail was surrounded by numerous MRF members as the Board of the Sturgis Hall of Fame formally presented him with the honor at the annual ceremony during the 2018 Rally.

"Hardtail", as he's affectionately known by his friends and fellow freedom fighters, is Chairman and President of the Motorcycle Riders Foundation. The coveted “Freedom Fighter” award, is a special designation to honor those who have made an impact on motorcycle rights, was presented to him during a ceremony at The Lodge at Deadwood in South Dakota as part of the 78th Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. "Our lifestyle as riders is threatened in a way it never has been," said Hardtail. "Little by little, riders like you and me are slowly being relegated to history." Hardtail, a rider with hundreds of thousands of miles and countless motorcycles and rallies under his belt added that the MRF will refuse to let that happen under their watch.

In conjunction with the ceremony, the MRF launched a campaign for new and prospective members attending Sturgis. "Through market research and member feedback, we learned that we had a great opportunity at Sturgis to communicate the importance of what this organization stands for," said Megan Ekstrom, MRF Vice President of Government Affairs & Public Relations. "Under Hardtail's leadership, we have doubled own on our efforts to improve the value of what we deliver to our membership, and we want to use this significant occasion to highlight that." A new brochure aggressivelystating, "YOUR RIGHTS, YOUR LIFESTYLE, YOUR MOTORCYCLE: UNDER SIEGE" complements the promotional campaign, a video, and a one-time discount for new members. The brochure includes a letter from Hardtail highlighting past accomplishments and offers a plain and simple look at what the MRF does and why". Your Massachusetts Motorcycle Association reminds riders that the MRF is the only organization in Washington D.C. made up of riders fighting for our own rights. Motorcycle Rights Organizations from around the United States set the Legislative Agenda for the organization, not insurance companies and corporate bureaucrats.
